Polling Day for elections to Fenland District Council and Newton-in-the-Isle Parish Council. The polling station in the Village Hall opens at 7.00am and closes at 10.00pm.

Coronation Celebration

18:30 - A Coronation Celebration evening in the Village Hall. Music by John Barry, Hog Roast, bring your own drinks. Home-made crown or tiara competition. Pre-booked tickets only.

09:00 - The regular Holy Communion service in St James' Church. All welcome.

Community Litter Pick for The Big Help Out

10:30 - Join your neighbours and make a difference in a Community Litter Pick as part of this special national celebration. Meet at the Village Hall at 10.30. Equipment provided. All welcome.

Gardening Club Meeting

10:00 - Gardening Club meeting in the Village Hall, with a demonstration of container gardening by Ann Purt. Ann will create two displays which will be raffled at the end of the meeting. 10.00 for 10.30 start. All welcome.

Annual Parish Meeting in the Village Hall

19:00 - Join the members of the Parish Council for a celebration of life in Newton-in-the-Isle. Meet your Councillors, and hear about their achievements during the last year and their plans for 2023. Village groups will have a chance to talk about their work. Doors open at 7.00 for a 7.30 start. Tea and coffee will be served on arrival.
